Mr. David RORKE: David holds a bachelor of education degree from Saint Petersburg State University’s on-line degree program in affiliation with the Canadian Institute of English and brings decades of experience as both a freelance and in-house translator and proofreader working with a wide range of clients. At PYRAMID, David works with the French, English and Vietnamese languages.
Ms. Lucy TRELOAR: Lucy has postgraduate qualifications in teaching, writing and editing from Australia's prestigious University of Melbourne and RMIT University. She also works as a journalist, is a published author and brings years of experience as both a freelance and in-house copy editor to an extensive customer portfolio. At PYRAMID, Lucy principally works as an English-language proofreader, using her expertise and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that clients receive a product of the highest possible quality.
Ms. Aurélie COLLADON: Aurélie holds two master’s degrees, one in public law from the University of Paris and the other a development management degree from Sciences-Po Paris. She has a comprehensive knowledge of English plus years of experience in translation using the French and English language pairs.
Mr. Bart GEERAERTS: Bart holds two master’s degrees, the first in teaching French as a second language, Linguistic Politics and new Technologies in Teaching (Rouen, France), and the other is in French and Spanish literature and linguistics (Brussels, Belgium and Madrid, Spain). Bart is able to handle Dutch, English, French and Spanish.
Mr. Dean HETHINGTON: Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Amherst College in Massachusetts. His CV also shows two years of graduate work at the University of California at Berkeley. He has extensive experience in copy writing and editing, drafting and revision of company documents, letters, proposals, advertising and marketing material. He also conducts staff training.
Mr. TENG Vanna: Vanna has 10 years experience in project management and reporting for a number of leading Australian institutions, including Westpac, NRMA and Lumley Technology. He worked on release notes and training documentation at Lumey Technology, Sydney Australia. Vanna also holds a degree in advanced public speaking from an international religious and charitable organization in Sydney, Australia.
Mr. YOUNG Shik Sung: Sung holds a master’s degree in accounting and financial management from the Keller Online Graduate School of Management, USA. He has a broad background as both a freelance and in-house proofreader. Sung is our key Korean language expert, translating to and from Korean and English.
Mr. IN Savuth: A graduate of the Departments of English and French Studies at the well-known Royal University of Phnom Penh's Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), Cambodia’s first official language institute, with degrees in both English translation and French literature and a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Economics. Savuth holds three bachelor degrees. His academic skills are complemented by his caring and conscientious nature and exemplary conduct as a translator.
Mr. REATH Panha: Panha has a master’s degree in law from the Royal University of Law and Economics and a bachelor of arts in French, with a certificate of professional translator. He has been part of our translation team since early 2000, demonstrating great enthusiasm for translation. He performs his work in a meticulous manner, taking care to discuss ambiguities with his fellow experts in either Khmer or French.
Mr. SENG Leang Hort: Hort graduated from Norton University with a bachelor’s degree in English communication. He translates to and from Khmer and English as a member of the translation team. Hort also earned an IT degree from a noted local universities, making him multi-skilled.
Mr. CHHEANG Sokret: Sokret graduated from the Royal University of Law and Economics, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics, specializing in enterprise management. A member of the translation team, he works from Khmer to English and vice-versa.
Mr. NGON Siheng: Siheng attended the Royal University of Agriculture and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in agronomy. He works in the Khmer-English/English-Khmer language pairs. Siheng has many years of experience and is always committed to improvement.
Mr. LIM Tech Leng: Leng is a graduate in Chinese literature, a holder of a Japanese proficiency level 3 degree and a holder of a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. He is currently pursuing higher education in English literature. He translates from Khmer, Japanese or Chinese into English, from Japanese into Khmer or Chinese and vice-versa.
Ms. KIM Sokchenda: Chenda is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in French literature from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and works in the Khmer-French language pairs.
Ms. TES Chann Sotheary: Sotheary holds a bachelor’s degree in French literature from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Her language pair is Khmer-French.
Mr. PHOEUNG Phireak: Phireak holds a bachelor of arts in French literature with translation and linguistics majors from the IFL, plus a master of arts in linguistics from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. He gained much experience while interpreting and translating for numerous French NGOs active in Cambodia in the fields of agriculture and health up to 2007. He then went on to work at the French Embassy in the field of law until 2011.
Mr. CHHUN Mengly: Mengly holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Build Bright University and a bachelor’s degree in law from the Royal University of Law and Economics. He translates from Khmer into English and vice-versa.
Mr. KONG Haing Seng: He completed graduate studies in Chinese literature and is pursuing higher education in information technology, making him a trilingual Khmer-Chinese-English translator with a strong IT and Sales background.
